Important Note on Advocacy vs. Therapy
I provide domestic violence advocacy, education, and support, not mental health therapy or clinical counseling. While my work is trauma-informed and informed by my education in psychology, I do not diagnose, treat, or provide psychotherapy. Advocacy focuses on empowerment, resources, education, and support related to safety and abuse dynamics.
If you are seeking clinical mental health treatment, I am happy to help you explore appropriate therapeutic resources and referrals.
Community-based support
At Guard the Sacred, we believe safety and healing are strongest when rooted in community. We provide compassionate, accessible support for survivors of domestic violence, their families, and anyone navigating unsafe or stressful situations. Our services include safety planning, advocacy, education, and outreach—helping individuals build resources, connections, and confidence to live safely and empowered.
We partner with local organizations, schools, and faith communities to bring awareness, training, and guidance directly where it’s needed most. Everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and heard—and our mission is to make that possible in every neighborhood we serve.
